狗拳 Dog fist , it's a very unique style ,a style that not many people know now a days which make it also very special.
When I lived in Fuzhou city Dog fist was the most popular style practised there.
dog style is an insult term for ground boxing. dishuquan. its become more popular for performance in modern wushu.

Hope this helps ?
I once photocopied an entire book on Fuzhou Dishuquan (woulda cost me 144.00 through amazon, and i paid maybe 15 bucks in ink). Actually, if you look at the wikipedia page for it, the book should be in the footnotes part. Nan Shaolin Leg Techniques it think its called. Its the same style that GETTHIN and Daxing88 are talking about.
It's pretty much a southern version of ditangquan (more like Liao Wuchang's monkey style with more legwork) . A lot more half and full bat stances in later sets, but otherwise it looks like fujian kung fu. It has a version of Sanzhan, that set that karate borrowed.
SifuWu, aka Wu Chanlong posts on here sometimes. He's probably the person you wanna look to ask about the style.
Although the changes are infinite, the principles are the same.

It helps a lot - thanks. I will be back in Fuzhou later this year, so I will be looking out for that version of Sanzhan- I know a few already but that will be a new one to me. Regards Gethin .
I know a practitioner of it. His name is Hung-Jai. His rooting skills are very good and he is quite explosive in his movements. His grip is also very strong. He can catch your hand or foot when you strike or kick, and apply his grip, and grapple with you. Many of his grappling moves contain rolling techniques. He is good on his back in open guard position, but he is also very quick to mount you.

This is not the first edition and the photos are a little dark, as if they lost the master and just photo copied the book.
