I am just as guilty in responding to his drivel, it's like when you get one of those steel wool splinters, you have to keep touching it...

Ouch ! I hate those. Usually I get a sharp knife or razor and just cut it out. This is what we have to do with these arseholes here. I have several peeps on Ignore and they no longer irritate me.

Several year ago I started reading this forum and decided to post a comment when asked a question about kung fu and I thought I could help him out with some of the knowledge I have gained over the years. I have always thought that this forum should be a place of productive discussions about kung fu and CMA in general.

After a while I noticed a lot of goofballs posting and saying stupid stuff. Mainly MMA / UFC guys hating on kung fu and stating that they rule and blah blah blah. I got in on some of those topics and proved my point. I am a CMA guy, I fought there and won... Subitai is another CMA guy he fought there and one.

However these trolls never go away.... they are like that steel wool splinter. Just gotta dig em out with a knife. That means putting them on Ignore since Gene Ching has to play the advocate of fairness and freedom of speech and does not ban these Iceholes. One thing that we need to do is keep good Productive Discussions going and don't worry about Faxia and other haters.

I don't mind people that have a different point of view than my own. Debating a topic and discussing different aspects of CMA is what we should be about. However, peeps who are here only to bust everyone chops and overall hate on CMA should be banned or Ignored.

When I first started training in the MA, some 37 yrs ago, I determined that I would never recognize a scored point against me when sparring. I figured, in real life you don't stop and acknowledge when someone hits you, you hit them back, or move away!

When I played water polo we got kicked in the groin, slapped in the face, kicked in the mouth, elbowed in the head......the game doesn't stop for you! If you acknowledge your injury the other team has scored!

The best way to deal with trolls is to not acknowledge their comments, even when they make a reasonable comment! The "reasonable comment" is the bait used to pull you in, then they degenerate the conversation.

So treat the reasonable and unreasonable comments of trolls as if they are a not there at all, do not recognize them, do not read them. Treat them with the concern an elephant gives a gnat, none all!

I have never called for the banning of anyone the entire 10-12 years I have been here.

I have never put anyone on ignore!

I have never complained about trolls!

I don't have a problem with the likes of you. When I am done having fun with dimwits I simply stop interacting with them until I am in the mood to play once again!

it was about 3 kingdoms, about lu bu, he got the fastest horse or red rabbit horse and square sky ji. he loved diao chan and lost his city and his head---
