    Funny thing is, I've seen several logos just like this. I guess art school doesnt have engineering classes.

    It's the department of innovation, yet the picture of the 3 gears would just lock up because each one is pushing against the next.

    This is not that uncommon even for big corporations, sad to say.

    At one major oil company I worked for, they spent a HUGE amount of time working on their 'Quality Policy' statement and their 'Mission, Vision, Values' statement.

    They then published them on plaques, cards, posters, and so on.

    All well and good you might think, except that they never showed them to the various divisions that were to receive them and they never had them reviewed by a person who was competent with grammar.

    After all of that time and all of the expense - both printing, hanging plaques, etc... and the big roll out meetings where senior management proudly unveiled the policy statements, it was pointed out that there were several major errors in grammar that made the actual meanings of the policies laughable.

    OOPS!
