I think it is interesting that many Westerners, especially Americans and Canadians will respect and honor the traditions of the American Indian, but Poo Poo CyMac's traditions.
They are basically the same principles applied slightly differently according to the differences in cultures.
Having said that I was one of the first to give him a good razzing about his business, but once I understood he was serious about it, I easily recognized it was no different than American Indian traditions.
I know for a number of reasons, most importantly, I was an apprentice, for a short time, to an American Indian Medicine Man in my younger days.
I don't anyone is really that interested in poo-pooing his religion or belief systems. I think the biggest issue is how he's trying to make money doing it.
