i kill him cuz he gets in my way!
i kill him cuz he gets in my way!
For whoso comes amongst many shall one day find that no one man is by so far the mightiest of all.
could be; however, from my understanding, it kinda means more this: the Buddha represents our preconceived notion of "enlightenment", whatever that may be; of course, this notion of what enoightenment is is based 100% on projection generated by the conditional mind; as such, it is utterly false and without basis; therefore, if we ever meet the Buddha, that preconceived notion of what we think enlightenment is / should be, we should immediately kill him / it, because it is a purely conditional construct, and decidedly not enlightenment! the premise is that, if enlightenment exists as a condition wherein one does not utilize the conditional mind, then the nature of enlightenment cannot be preconceived by it;
it's a lot of gobbldy-gook just there, but that's what I was told...
I killed the Buddha because he tried to kill me first. He got what he had coming to him as far as I am concerned!
And the voices in my head told me too!
That's all really deep thanks.
I'll still stick with kill the petty self.
buddha sounds like a dick.
For whoso comes amongst many shall one day find that no one man is by so far the mightiest of all.
Buddhism is kind of unclear. If I see the Buddha in the road, do I kill him right there, or is it better to wait until he's outside of his loft, fidgeting for his keys? And where do I dispose of him?
Where was he going anyway?
Uhhhhh.......yes it is! Just because you do not recognize it is so, does not make it "not so"!
Of course, once you recognize it IS Buddha, it isn't petty anymore!
But that is really nothing more than a matter of perspective.
And perspective does not change the substance of a phenomena, only your experience of it!
That's all very deep, thanks.
I'll stick with the petty self is no Buddha.
