The TCMA guys will need to train counters for these kind of throws that your opponent uses his body weight to drag you down with him.

Thinking you just going to dodge the attempt or somehow rebalance yourself against someone who actually knows what they're doing is a terrible philosophy, and a recipe for disaster. You have much more than scripted judo moves to be concerned about.

And anyone who tries using their body weight to take you down is clearly inexperienced, and will likely be dealt with just as easily with a kick to whatever.

OK, accept your statement, although sport groundfighting is nothing new. The ancient Greeks always liked to up the ante. As long as you are not referring to competition MA where quickly killing , blinding, or breaking your adversary is not an option.

The last guy who tried blinding me got thrown through a wall.

It hurt, bought him MAYBE a couple tenths of a second, and infuriated me. I think we put alot of stock into a lot of unproven techniques, leaning heavily on the notion that it HAS to be true, despite the fact that we can't legally prove its effectiveness.

All I know is that every time someone tried a "deadly" move on me, it hurt, made me angry, and caused me to go Hulk on him.
