    Choy Lee Fut World Invitational Highlight

    Buck Sing Kwoon from this forum competed in this competition as well....and won in the first round.

    At about the 2:30-2:50 mark the guy with the red chest protector sets up a beautiful spinning backfist, which starts with what looks like a lead hand shovel hook (I don't know the correct Choy Li Fut term).

    One thing I have always appreciated about this style is making something that looks unorthodox work.

    One thing I have always appreciated about this style is making something that looks unorthodox work.
    It was a been Choy (another name for back fist) spinning back fist followed by a sow choy then snap kick. you can find those techniques in our forms...

    I have never been a fan of CLF itself personally, but I can attest that it has produced some tough fighters, and those punches hit with a lot of force if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    I think its awesome that people from so many places and age ranges went in there and scrapped. Looks like fun
