I've used a few of their blades, all good swords. They cut mats and bamboo well and hold up. The first one I got from them was the practical pro plus, solid blade and fittings, holds up well for beginners learning new cutting skills.

Chen's swords have an excellent reputation among practitioners of kenjutsu. Every review I have seen speaks highly of their cutting ability.
