You are right, Gino. I left out the folding mat.
It goes right in your car, and is easy to carry. Buy two and you have a big enough area to do throws and roll.
Clorox wipes and purell as well as a small first aid kit.
BTW- I found that the cloth bandaids hold better than the rubbery "sport" ones.
"My Gung-Fu may not be Your Gung-Fu.
Gwok-Si, Gwok-Faht"
"I will not be part of the generation
that killed Kung-Fu."
....step.

Jump rope for overall conditioning
I have two banana bags at my gym and cannot express how great they are for training. The major advantage being all low kicks, sweeps, knees, as well as practicing imitiation of full body shots can be done much more effectively on a banana bag as opposed to a regular heavy bag.
I also am planning to purchase a body snatcher/wrecking ball bag to hang up. These develop wicked uppercuts and body punches.

umm a training partner?
I would hope to be training with people that I respect enough not to think of them as "equipment"umm a training partner?
I wasn't referring to any specific bag type, but on the occasions I've got to use banana bags (not as often as i'd like...haven't been able to afford membership to a good gym) I liked 'em. Not sure if I prefer them to regular heavy bags, as I haven't had enough experience with them to compare.the banana bag is perfect for my style........
But I really, really like punching things.
Bag would be choice one, although pads are cheaper...if you have someone to hold them, then you have someone to throw.
Folding Matt would be number 3.
Nobody mentioned my number 2 yet...what about a mirror?
For us, its also perfect. Especially for FULL ON sow choys designed to strike the neck. Its also great for CLF style sweeps and everything else.
