Thanks for the video, Hendrik.
Hey Hendrik,
What your Sifu said wasn't well thought out about losing your weapon. That position might help with left/right cutting to a small degree but your arm can be cut any direction. Up/down and diagonal would completely negate his point......
Ok. Good.
The point make is that the inside of the wrist is much vunerable Then the other parts and
it is the closet target to the oponent.
Strike to this area take out or damage the head of the snake or the hand big time.
For example, in real life,
If one face style like NGO gar. , NGO gar technic will simultaneous strike that part and center line... Etc. In yik kam WCK the same type of stratergy will also practice to damage hand.
So, if one hold one's hand out like the sun punch one is in trouble at the first contact.

Agree totally with Way faring. What you do is totally different to my own lineage and its not all my cup of tea, but it's great to hear it / see it. With no offense meant, these vids are deffinitely a better communication medium for you than written posts. Maybe you could do some on some of the other stuff that doesn't come across well in text such as the six directonal force vectors concept.
