You're free to have a point of view of course. I would take free market capitalism over virtually every other economic model because it is actually the fairest in my opinion.
People are the factor that cause problems. The system isn't greedy, individuals are and not all of them certainly.
There's greed in socialist systems, communist systems, you name it and the human condition makes itself apparent despite any forms of control we place on our comings and goings.
It all comes down to you as the individual and the decisions you make along your life path.
If you put your key to happiness in someone else's pocket, you've screwed yourself basically. In other words, make yourself upright, it's all you can really do when it comes right down to it. there's no guarantees with anything else in life.
Do you mean an utterly free market, a la laissez-faire, or do you mean with minimal regulation? Because we've seen how corporations have taken advantage of free markets. They made them not so free.
