    Real Fu Hok?

This guy was a guest instructor for awhile at a Kenpo school I attended back in the mid-70's. Comments on his interpretation of Fu Hok?

He ran in Kenpo circles but claimed to teach Chi Lin Kung Fu. The history outside of the Kenpo he learned has been questioned. Ran across this video recently.

    That's interesting.

He told me back when he was trraining they didn't have equipment so for sparring they would tear off a shirt sleeve and role it up to protect their teeth then go all out.

I krrp thinking that was in south China but I can't remember if he actually stated that was where he trained. Other info I found on the 'Net is shaky at best.

That is dennis decker. In the pai lum system hes a bigger name that floats to the surface now and then. He also taught chi lin if i remember correctly. There are many stories about him some good some bad. He mostly noted for his sexual preferences of the same gender. Never met the guy so i cant really state any as fact.

I can only start watch a couple of minutes of that clip and then I start throwing up.

    His interpretations are too literal.

Yep he was openly gay, that was uncommon back in those days. It was great that my teacher brought in outside sources but that was a bit of a shock.

The whole Chi Lin thing sounds a little fishy and his known background seems to be Judo and Pai Lum. Some say it's his own creation.
