    Mantis Sparring

    Below are a couple highlight clips I took of two of some of my students sparring. At this point they are just novices.

    I like videotaping students sparring then playing it back for them in class. That way they can see their mistakes rather than me just telling them about them. I think it sinks in a little better that way. Plus, over a few weeks we can watch for positive or negative patterns as they emerge.
