This was driving me crazy all morning

I caught the end of Five Fingers of Death (1972) on El Rey's Mutton for Punishment Chinese New Year Kung Fu Marathon this morning over breakfast. I heard that klaxon sound when Lo Lieh's hands turn red and was like "I know that!" but couldn't put my finger on it (pun intended). I knew it was the opening of an old TV show. It hit me on the commute and I rushed to this thread, only to find mickey was way ahead of me on this.

    Gene,

An interesting coincidence that in my last post I referenced entry #9, and you found mickey's post, entry #10.

Im am in turmoil here! I've been trying to find the songs to two specific movies ,
if anyone can find them PLEASE , I BEG you, let me know immediately!

They just sound so beautiful to my ears , lol.

The first movie is Heroes of Shaolin a.k.a. Heroes of the Wild.
(the song that plays in the very beginning as the master stabs himself with the sai blades after being defeated )

    & the 2nd is...

    Black and white swordsmen.
( Shortly after the introduction where he leaves the secret cave It begins to play , as well as in the end after the final fight)

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated , please help me out my kung fu brothers!

    BlueLotus7ist:

I checked those parts of the movies, and I don't know the sources of either track. I have heard the one from Heroes of the Wild in other KF movies as well. If I come across the original source, I will post it up.

I can't recall offhand hearing the track from Black and White Swordsman in any other KF films, and I suspect tracking its original source down *might* be a bit harder, but I'll post it if I ever find it (unless someone else beats me to it).

    takeboh,

This track is called "Knife Fight on the Hill" by Sid Ramin from the movie "Stiletto" (1969).

    297 - The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)*

    Musical suite by Jerry Fielding

    *an addition to entry #'s 7 & 47

**Note: This musical suite contains the same track (the main theme) as entry #7, and some of the same tracks in entry #47. The tracks from entry #47 are clearer here due to the tracks not being in movie clips. There are also other tracks here that are new to this thread. Almost all of this movie's tracks have been used in KF films. This suite is incomplete.
