*an update of entry #142
Somebody finally posted this track on YouTube directly from The Happening OST. Previously, it had only been available on YouTube under "Way of the Dragon soundtracks" (which have since been taken off of YouTube), which had not given credit to The Happening, Frank De Vol, or the title of the track.

Hi there! I was wondering if you could help me with some cues from the horror/monster flick Crocodile (Chorake), which sound much like those you'd find in a Kung Fu film from the '70s:
https://youtu.be/nlzYnbikCsQ?t=5m49s
Barring the Thai traiditional stuff, most of the score seems to be lifted from either an earlier film, or perhaps cues from some old library.
While the film is from 1979, this cue can also be heard in the trailer for Toei's Female Prisoner Scorpion: Jailhouse 41, which came much earlier, but it's not from that film:
https://youtu.be/nlzYnbikCsQ?t=1h26m50s
I'm almost positive this either come from the same source, or are at least composed by the same person.
If you're interested, the International cut of Chorake replaces this cues with ones that (coincidentally) have been heard in Kung Fu flicks such as:
-"For a Little While" and "Leaving Home" from Gator.
-"Shark Bait" and "Kevin Dead" from The Deep.
-"Devil's Gun" by CJ & CO.
-"Fire" by Gino Peguri from the RCA compilation "Sound Track".
-"Effetti Elettronico 6" and "Sintetizattore" from Vedette Records' Effetti Sonori series.
Cheers!
