Yes, there are MANY Japanese soundtracks used in Hong Kong and Taiwan movies of the '60s, '70s and '80s. I myself have only identified a couple of Nikkatsu movies whose soundtracks were used in KF movies, and out of the Nikkatsu movies I've seen, the only one whose entire soundtrack I am familiar with is Akai Koya (Red Wilderness, 1961), entry #336 in this thread, which is a rare movie indeed. It's one of the "Eastern Western/gangster" genre set in modern-day, post-war(?) Hokkaido, starring Joe Shishido (Shishido Jo). Most (but not all) of the tracks in Akai Koya were used in a number of old-school HK and Taiwan KF and action films. I've been waiting for someone to post the entire movie on YouTube so I can officially enter the other tracks besides just the opening theme, as well as all the KF movies they were used in.
