    Thanks, PalmStriker.

That's some really good stuff! I think my favorite one was Before the War; for me, it conjures up images of knights riding on horseback towards a medieval battlefield.

    150 - True Grit (1969)*

    *An addition to entry #49.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf986qOCCFE&sns=em

There was a soundtrack album featuring at least some tracks that weren't actually heard in True Grit, entry #49 (Chen Lee and the General) being only one example. It was mainly those tracks on said album that were used in kung fu films. Unfortunately, most of those alternate tracks aren't on u-tube at the moment.

The soundtrack suite presented here contains music actually used in the film. There are a couple of tracks, one of which is a very brief bit, that are heard, in alternate versions, in KF films. The first twenty seconds at the very beginning, and then from approximately 6:50 to 9:50, are heard in their alternate versions in:
    Monkey Fist, Floating Snake
    And possibly others...

    *Some additions to entry #104.

    Burt Reynold's House
(Unfortunately, a pic comes with this vid, and once you've seen it you can't unsee it)

This track is heard in so many kung fu comedies naming titles is difficult, but includes:
    Shaolin Ex-Monk (a.k.a., Renegade Monk)
    And many more...

    Marcel Marceau

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSSJDU4-ex8&sns=em

Also heard in many KF comedies, including:
    Drunken Master

In fact, there are other tracks to this film familiar in KF movies, but which are not yet posted up on u-tube.

155 - King of Kung Fu (by Candy)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISK97vb9IPc&sns=em

    The theme for:
Goodbye, Bruce Lee: His Last Game of Death

This is a great BL tribute video. As far as the song goes, it always made me laugh when I was a kid. It's a special kind of cheesiness, and because of that, it retains a silly type of charm that could only have come from the '70s. You could say it's so bad it's good. It's a UK song, but I used to have the impression it was recorded in New York for some reason.

    156 - Battlestar Galactica (1978)

    Soundtrack Suite (by Stu Phillips)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvSvTg8d0QE&sns=em

Several of these tracks have been used in countless, mainly independent kung fu films of the late '70s to early '80s, mostly filmed in HK.

Some key tracks begin at: 3:50, 6:05, 18:59, 22:45, 23:12, and 25:55. but there's probably more as well.

For only one example, many of these are heard in:
    Crazy Horse and Intelligent Monkey
    A Wily Match
    And others...
