1－Having sex and ejaculation are two different things. In my own experience having a sexual partner can nourish my yin and ground my energy but even in this case I can definitely feel how it hurts my energy level if I ejaculate too often.

2-I have heard a few times that people who stop sex (ejaculation more specifically) without having learned to open up their meridians and circulating the flow of qi are at risk of qi stagnation, tumors, etc...

Another thing that I have noticed is that as I progress in circulating qi in my body my sexual desire also decreases whereas a few years ago avoiding sex for a a few weeks was frustrating and would give me a lot of anxiety. So probably this practice should be different for people of different levels in order to be healthy.

Immature sperm has difficulty penetrating the egg and therefor requires time to mature before efficacy is achieved.
