There were two photos actually presented by Samuel Kwok ( I believe his wife worked on the original damaged print) sourced from Kulo village.

It's legitimacy is only questionable if you do not trust the source, but one would expect a picture of Leung Chun too just to compare!

Not sure this says anything about his role in the development of Wing Chun at all but if the source is legitimate, and I have no reason to disbelieve, then it does go some way to proving his existence which has been questioned more than once
A clever man learns from his mistakes but a truly wise man learns from the mistakes of others.

The difference between Ip Man's stance and footwork compared to that of Chan Wah Son's
descendants' examples of the same shows an additional influence on the development of Ip Man wing chun. This is on top of the fact that Ip Man told his top students (wang Kiu was not a top student)
and his sons that he learned for several years from Leung Bik in HK.(before Leung Bik went back to the mainland.). Ip man said that he got money from his father for helping Leung Bik.

But the proof of the pudding - about an additional source of instruction is Ip Man's own wing chun.
