    Chinese Characters - help

My sifu might be able to investigate this lineage when he visits Foshan. anyone know the Chinese Characters for this teacher?

    Chan Lo Kwai

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chan Lo Kwai was known as Chu Yuk Kwai or Pork seller Kwai. He was a butcher and owned his own meat store on Fai Jee street. Lo Kwai had developed some sort of Tiet Jee or Iron Finger method, that he learned from a wandering monk. It was said he could kill a pig by piercing its heart with his fingers. Lo Kwai made the mistake of challenging Leung Jan to a Challenge match. Lo Kwai lost and than begged Leung Jan to teach him. After some persuasion Leung Jan accepted him, as most of his students were buisness owners or the sons or buisiness owners.

Lo Kwai or his ancestors fled to Taiwan at some point, and passed down the system that had been passed down from Leung Jan.

That's a very difficult request!! Online translators don't seem to do too good with surnames and such and with the various phonetics this will prove tough...

On the Taiwan tip though, you may find some answers here http://www.chengwingchun.co.nz

The site clearly states "In 1974, Sifu Lo Man Kam established the first and only Wing Chun Kung Fu school in Taiwan."

Could be a very good resource for you to find out more
