I know from now on I'll stay with 50 lb weight if I still want to maintain my speed. This is an excellent example that old TMAist's knowledge and experience is valuable. hmmm...i have to say the problem i have with this exercise is at the point that the arm is taking the load, the shoulder and elbow are overextended. the elbow is likely to take a slight hyperextension with each stroke and the load at the shoulder is taken completely by tendon and ligament. most especially on the single arm pull.
