Wu Xing Ba Fa

From the Shaolin Quan Pu that have been preserved and passed down from Bai Yu Feng, et al, it was called Wu Quan, Five Fists. and it was composed of 16 animals, with five styles of boxing (Luohan, Rou Quan, Hua Quan, forgot the other two). It has eagle, horse, rabbit, rooster, ox, mantis, and others.

The lineage from Yi Guan that went south from Henan at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty created the Wu Xing Quan, its of southern Shaolin origin to have 5 animals only.

There are various Wuxing Bafa.The concept is the same.About 24 movements with 2 or 3 Movements for each Animal. Besides of this, there are some 5 Animal forms that act as the basic 5 Animal forms. Shi De Cheng has the most of thi forms presented.
