Bai Yuan Tong Bei Quan
So while I'm in China (at least for the time being), I'm studying Bai Yuan Tong Bei Quan. It's only been two months, but I've been enjoying the style...it seems to fit me pretty well (especially as it doesn't require very good hip flexibility ).
I'm just wondering who else here studies/has studied this, or any other of the non-Shaolin Tong Bei/Bi styles.
I can't really speak anything but survival Chinese so far, so the only questions I can really ask my teacher are ones on technique/application which are easy to show without words.
I did read a bit about the style on this forum and other sources online, but it would be nice to find some English speaking practitioners to communicate with. Thanks.

are you staying in the north east?
here in yantai, after tanglang and chang quan, tongbei is quite popular. i havent learnt any myself, but my shifu is friends with a few practitioners, and ive watched people do some forms in the park.

No, I'm in Yunnan, but Tong Bei seems fairly common here also.
