the guy has to look in the dictionary to defines martial art.

military art is a military art, soldiers fight and die and they get paid for it.

I agree. He's making up his own definitions for these terms then getting upset that people aren't fitting the definition he created.

Also I'm not sure why he thinks its ok to get paid to do martial arts in an action film but not ok to get paid to do martial arts in the ring.

I don't like to use the word MA because many health, performance, and inner peace guys also claim that they are doing MA. I prefer to use the word "combat" and Cung Le is indeed a "combat" guy.

Look, I get it; he hates MMA. He has the right to his opinion, but a 30-minute rant is a bit much. I wonder why it pi$$es him off so much, though. Is there some other, underlying reason? To go on and on and on about it makes it appear like whining. Also, all the F-bombs and 'MFers' isn't really helping him in his argument.

Of course Cung Le is a MAist. Without question.

I'm not obsessed with MMA, but I do watch it sometimes, and believe it has value. There are cool people as well as douchebags in both MMA and TMA. I've probably encountered more snooty a-holes among TMAists (including CMA, JMA, etc.) than in almost any other pursuit.

You cannot compare dog-fighting with MMA fighters. For one thing, the dogs don't have a choice. Of course the fighters want to make money. But I'm sure the elite fighters want to test themselves against the best as well. It's just that their chosen way of making a living meets with this guy's disapproval. Which makes it his problem.

Cung Le does show alot skill that can hurt anyone on the streets.

Cung Le time and time again showed his skill vs talks about it.

Met him a few times in Calif, he is a guy with class.
