Yeah that part is kind of weird. It's like he didn't even try to change his vocab. Unless ST is his brother or something like that. It sounds like an ESL kid who hasn't quite grasped the quirks of the language despite the ability to converse. Like the almost americanized euro rave guys on family guy.

    Warrior man is awesome!

I went to this off topic forum to start a thread to ask why they kept locking the threads warrior man was on, because I had some things to say on them, other than the schoolyard ridiculing that some of the "respected regulars" were engaged in.

I mean, so what if people challenge each other, very few people are likely going to spend alot of money to travel around the world to spar. And if they do, so what, is this the YMCA?
Let's have fun with martial arts.

    Then I saw this thread.
    Yeah!

I have mixed feelings about "credentials"

Technically I am a Black belt in Taekwondo.

My instructor was Master Myoung-Eon Kang. He is a 6th Dan Kukkiwon.

He knew alot, and while the school was open other Black Belt teachers from the area would go there to get instruction from him.

He is from South Korea, and if you go into his Dojang to ask for a sparring match with him, he would take that as an insult and challenge and proceed to fight you.

I know, I saw it happen.

But he didn't have integrity, as the school was closing he said he would like for me to be able to not only get my black belt, but be Kukkiwon certified, which the school didn't offer, because the owner wasn't Kukkiwon certified.

So after the school ended, we continued for awhile at another school he was able to use after hours.

He set up a Black Belt test for me and a few kids that had been in the previous school.

The money he got for test fees was in the thousands, I learned all 8 Taeguk forms in a very short period, as well as 20 or so one steps and kicking forms.

I badly bruised up and sprained my hand breaking a concrete patio block, because he didn't actually show me how to do it, just said, don't break my hand.

At the end he showed us a really cool back flip kick, then left and that was 2 years ago.

We paid for a show, essentially.

Of course, he did show me everything up to 1st Dan, and I can and do continue to practice it.

I am working on application now, because, to say the least, that was not a priority there.

I started Kung Fu, and feel that is more to where I am, then the military movements of Taekwondo, I just have a better idea of what to look for with Sifus, after what I was through with my Qwangjangnim.

I have seen several times, people questioning credentials, and from some second hand assumptions make judgments, but there are alot of possibles.

Warrior man gives this place some color, because everyone else is trying to act hip and socially acceptable.

    I read through the thread.
So they started a thread on warrior man to provoke him, and psychologically toy with him, then HE was banned?

I definitely don't get the Bushido here.

You mean the way he would answer a direct question as vaguely and ambiguously as possible and then say "Is that clear and concise enough for you?"

Lol, that's exactly like it! How can anyone speak English so well and sound so foreign?

As I know it, a resume is posted as a means of acceptance or employment from an organization or group.

    So...No.

    Why are you confused?

Because the way you wrote it and responded to the preceding posts made it unclear as to whether you were referring to yourself, or to Warrior Man. Also it seems strange to list so many things about yourself unsolicited, unless i missed something in an earlier post.

But it's clear and concise now.

And I am not even going to enquire on how off base that must be.

I didn't say anything about myself, just a faux black belt test.

But we need to bring back Warrior Man immediately.

It is actually funny, that, at the same time people are making fun of him, like I would see kids do to a lone kid, when I was a kid. they are taking what he does so seriously.

Doesn't matter if he made everything up, for whatever reason, it doesn't hurt anyone.

Except for maybe the odd ruffian, there is no danger in what he does, and he can teach us deadly wisdom.

It is funny, and sad, how people still haven't evolved since they were children, trying to fit in at school.

I would usually befriend the kid that was outcast, if by chance I wasn't the outcast, or another kid was more estranged.

And, unless the kid disrespected me, they were often more interesting than those that played it safe, and picked on those that didn't.

So you all learned martial arts, but are still afraid to stand out.

LOL... Love that people keep linking me to that guy when I have nothing to do with him. I would have thought that was pretty obvious. This is a prime example of people trolling themselves I guess...?

Too late for that! We already fought and I won with my lightening fast Ameri-caucasian super-strength we learned how to develop after we brought the Nazi scientists over from Germany after WWII, combined with the Ameriasian skills and wisdom imparted to me by The Ancient One and also just a spoonful of sugar we learned from Mary Poppins. It makes everything go down sweeter! That is why it is called the sweet smell of success. It is also why you don't remember! It was a happy event for you!

I blame your defeat on your mother though, she apparently isn't as strong as you thought he was!

    Yes, he was awesomely juvenile!

There is a difference between trying to act hip and being hip! It is the wannabes that criticize the in crowd for being the in crowd. The fact is, if you hang around here long enough, you get to be the in crowd too. You don't have to try at all, it comes about just by being here and participating. You don't even have to get along the whole time, just not be a horses a$$ most of the time.

It might benefit you to learn a bit about social groups, how they form and how they function. The process is pretty much the same across social groups.

If you don't want to be hip, because to you, it isn't hip, then don't complain about it!

That is because you are new here. And you haven't read EVERYTHING he wrote on all the threads he participated in and you don't understand what he has done.

He was warned, by me publicly, from almost his first post. I am sure he was warned privately more than once by the moderators.

He was NOT provoked by members, his first few posts were the provocative ones. Then he used silly made up stories he pretended to be Chinese fairytales in order to passive-aggressively mock and attack members. Then he moved on to public ridicule and name calling and libel and admitted to committing an atrocity on an unbalanced person and bragged about his heroic-self. etc.

He was clearly escalating his inappropriate behavior!

I told him from the beginning, and it might be beneficial for you to keep this in mind too, this place is like a local pub. Many of the, COOL ones, myself excluded of course because I am way above COOL, have been here 10 years of so. So, imagine someone new coming into a local pub in a quiet neighborhood and decides to take up residence there for his spare time. He comes in and starts fights and acts punkish and disrespects the locals. What do you think the locals will do with this person?

You can criticize the social rules all you want, but the rules persist across all cultural and social strata because it is the nature of man to spontaneously organize into groups and those groups have basically the same social rules. These rules are universal across groups. New people must accommodate themselves to the group, not the group to the individual. Individuals that can't or won't fit in, will leave of their own accord, or they will be ostracized.

He got what he asked for by his punkish behavior. Go to any public meeting and act punkish and you will be escorted off the premises as well.

Also Gene is a fair man. I would not be surprised if he is allowed back at some point. But he will most likely lose control of his behavior again and he will banned again and again because he is young and immature. He needs to grow up a bit before he gets to play with the COOL kids!

Read my above post and chill out a bit. You either do not know the whole story, or you don't care, which means you might not be around for long either.

I think it is just because you two showed up almost immediately.

Frankly, I haven't ruled out you might be the same person myself, but I personally need more evidence.

Speculation, is not the same thing as trolling by the way.
