I got to train with Ando sensei once. My aikido sensei was one of his uchi deshi for years. As skillful as he is I don't think he'll ever reach Shioda's level of skill because he's always trying to copy Shioda rather than allowing his own way to come through.

A nice skit, but the skill lies more in the uke than the nage. A good uke can make just about anyone look like a master.
Not to say that Yoshinkan Aikido does not ROCK, it does. But like most aikido demos, that was aikido versus compliant, acrobatic uke.
Still fun to watch though. Thanks for sharing!
