Kuangyin Creates Calamity at Golden Bridge

A Qing Dynasty martial novel called Complete Classic of the Flying Dragon is based on an earlier work from the Yuan Dynasty. It is about the exploits of Zhao Kuangyin, the man who later became first emperor of the Song in 960.

I have translated an episode of this story that takes place after Zhao leaves his home town and encounters injustice on the road. His reactions instill courage in justice in the readers and most importantly the desire to train hard their martial art.

The second half of this episode

Part two of Kuangyin Creates Calamity at Golden Bridge

This book has never been translated into English, so this was a bit of an experiment for me to see if there would be any interest in people reading such a book.

For whoso comes amongst many shall one day find that no one man is by so far the mightiest of all.
