    Sticky Hands Training in Mantis

Tonight in class we practiced a mantis version of "sticky hands" training.

For years I have told my students, "There are three major ways of dealing with the enemy's arms: redirect them, leak through them, or roll around them".

What do you think of that statement?

There are two types of Chinese martial artists. Those who can fight and those who should be teaching dance or yoga!

53 years of training, 43 years of teaching and still aiming for perfection!

You can grab the arms and use it to off balance your opponent. Maybe break a joint at the same time. My teacher use to say that the attacking limb is a valid target.
Behold. Mighty Ross. His coming was foretold in the Book of BaWang. He will come with a Vengeance on David, Son of Jamie. The Warring Trolls will unite across the Forums of Ching. And the Virgin Warrior, Pure-Hearted Lucas shall be offered up in Sacrifice to appease His Wrath. His Truth will ring in the hearts of the Kickboxers, and They shall be Glorified forevermore. Peace be upon you, Internet Traveler.
