Very true, although you have to admit that the Japanese are pretty badass with their refusal to apologize and to also commemorate their Rising Sun warriors.

War is war, and they don't take it personal. But then, they shouldn't be crying about those 2 nukes dropped on them neither (and the 6-8 more nukes that were being prepared to come right after, had they not surrendered).

And they were pretty lucky that it was the Americans who popped Hiroshima and Nagasaki....and then occupied and rebuilt their country. Imagine if it were the Russians (seeing what they did right afterward with Eastern Europe) or the Chinese, who's got a bone to pick...a really big bone.
