Anyone watch the new Tic series?

My favorite of the non PC parts is Batmanuel and his manuelmobile(its like a gold lowrider with $8000 of unpaid parking tickets).

Its on 7:30 here on the same channel as X-Files.

Its not bad. The guy who plays the tic is perfect for the part, and his antenae crack me up. I haven't seen much of the old characters(American Maid, Deflaturmous, etc.), but its basically the same humor and format as the old one.

I think BatManuel and whatever that woman's name is (Captain Liberty or something?) are on the series instead of American Maid and Deflaturmous (sp?).

I think so too. They are definitely reminiscent of the other two(Didn't American Maid always fly in on a chopper, too?)

Yeah, a lot of the stuff from the animated series can't be in the live-action show on account of copyright issues. Tick and Arthur (as well as Red Scare) are from the comic book, though, so Ben Edlund owns them, rather than the production company from the cartoon. So, we may see Chairface Chippendale, Paul the Samurai, and guys like that.
