Marrese Crump starring in Rittikrai’s ‘Formless’

American martial artist Marrese Crump will be starring in a new martial arts movie to be produced by Prachya Pinkaew (CHOCOLATE) and directed by Panna Rittikrai (BORN TO FIGHT).
Co-written by Anesti Vega (A SPANIARD’S TALE) and Crump, the film is called FORMLESS. According to a press release, it will deal with Crump’s “vision to blend great martial arts action with real combative strategies.”
Crump, who has already established himself in the film industry as an action choreographer for the DTV film WRONG SIDE OF TOWN, has been traveling extensively to recruit top martial arts and fighting talents. So far, it is confirmed that MMA fighter Anderson Silva and pro-wrestler Dave Bautista have been cast, as well as Capoeira master Cobra Mansa and Filipino Kali master Ray Dionaldo.
Kinetic 9, a protégé of Wu Tang Clan’s RZA, will be contributing to the soundtrack. Crump is listed on IMDb as being the action choreographer for RZA’s upcoming martial arts movie THE MAN WITH THE IRON FIST.
FORMLESS is expected to begin shooting in Thailand this winter.
