    Happy Father's Day!

Hope things are running a little smoother now. Our IT is still doing some clean-up and promises a full-report next week (but it seems to have been mostly an issue with our provider). I should know more tomorrow. Again, sorry for the interruption of service. These things happen.

Gene, every time you say the forum is fixed, it breaks again. I think that either:

    1. You're breaking it
    2. You're jinxing it when you say it's fixed

So either way, it's your fault

Next time have another staff member update us

edit: and stay far away from the computer when they do this

Still not running well, is it?

I'm actually just relating what our IT tells me. Of course, our IT didn't think it was broken at first. I'm sure anyone who works with IT will understand.

At the risk of jinxing it, it seems to be working okay so far today. Are you all still experiencing issues?

An IT's first impression is always user error... and for good reason.

    Any more crashes lately? Anyone?

I had one yesterday afternoon, but it corrected itself quickly. Maybe it was user error.

I had another crash this morning

Our IT continues to look into it. Might be time for some more serious measure to be taken.

Start fresh. Make old threads view only archive. Problem solved and your board enters the 21st century

It will also save you guys time/money in the long run.

It's like when your car keeps breaking down... eventually fixing it isn't really worth it anymore, no matter how much you love that car. Everything gets retired eventually.

    Intriguing idea, Syn7

However telling us to enter the 21st century is silly. We still train with swords.

    lol.... touche...

For the record, you guys do a pretty great job considering how big the forum is. I'm glad it's not my headache. I just have the engineer mentality. We love doing stuff from scratch.

Thanks. Usually it's very self-maintaining. It just craps out every once in a while. Managing all the trolls is more of a bother than the occasional technical issues.
