I was alot younger and out drinking. local hardman walks in with loud and gobby friend. Lots of intimadtion and games played until my friend (black belt tkd) Bacl fists one while sitting down. Hardman takes my friend down and starts smashing him. His friend starts throwing bar stools at me. I jump out way. My other friend (only had one hand and walked on a crutch) runs in and takes the stool thrower down. Im left to pull hardman of my friend...
I slam in chain punches and biu gee elbow followed by fak sau. He took it and smiled and kept walking towards me. Lucy for me the door men jumped in and ejected them from club. The bar manager brought us a beer.
lesson i learnt..... needed more stopping power. should not have taken that long. needed to have more tools in my tool box. This is one of many reasons i started to improve my own knowledge of martial arts.
This one time in band camp............................
What a pointless thread!
I think its a good topic and wr can all learn from each others real life practical experience.
Was sparring this big ole beef cake muscle dude the other day...guy was very strong at wrestling...I went light on him at first dude picked me up off the ground and slammed me...
After that we broke he came in again. I stop going light and started controlling his neck and his structure by attacking his head, an removing his guard. He tried to bob and weave I chained link striked to gauge the time of his head motion an backed him up against a wall and applied a few po pai techniques to him against the wall...
This happen like this past saturday...nothing else to report!

"Wing Chun flows around overwhelming force and finds openings with its constant flow of forward energy."
"Always Attack, Be Aggressive always Attack first, Be Relentless. Continue with out ceasing. Flow Like Water, Move like the wind, Attack Like Fire. Consume and overwhelm your Adversary until he is No More"
my only experience with wing chun was my first tai chi teacher, he punched very fast, especially the chain punch.
so a lot of wing chun people chase ideas and look down on spamming the chainpunch, but effective wing chun peple I met all emphasize the chain punch, and extreme speed
