A little while ago we talked about hand-pulled noodles.
On sunday, I went to Nan Zhou's in Philly for my birthday. They're famous for their hand pulled noodles (they also serve what they call thick (cut) noodles, which makes me wonder if it's anything like in Iron Monkey).
I ordered the sliced beef soup, and wow. I was still kinda stuffed from having bubble tea, a fried pork bun, and an egg tart less than an hour earlier, but the food really blew me away. The beef was seasoned perfectly and was very tender and I'd liken the noodles to a fresh baked bread with how soft they were. They kinda melt in your mouth, don't they?
If you ever find yourself near Philly, let me know. I'll take you there
