    國際巨星李連杰的武術教練、中國武術界傳奇吳彬師傅昨日抵達灣區，將參加周日舉行的第三屆聖荷西市功夫太極 日活動。他說，中國武術不光重視招數的好看，實際對戰也有很大的作用。就拿太極來說，看起來柔軟緩慢，但真 要掌握以柔克剛的原理，在武術競技上也能立於不敗之地。

    吳彬在李連杰的功夫明星道路上起到至關重要的作用。李連杰一直與這位老師保持聯繫。

    吳彬昨日在功夫太極日記者會上說，太極拳既可成為中老年朋友強身健體的法寶，亦可在競技武術中起到防身功效 。他指出，太極拳的理念講究一個圓字，利用圓形的不穩定性可化解攻擊。實用性較強的太極拳其實與印象中的太 極很不相同，動作幅度和速度都比較快。與人交手時，敵動我動，後發先至，並不是一味防守，也講究先下手為強 。

    人民网旧金山5月18日电 （韩莎莎）2014年第三届圣荷西市“功夫太极日”5月18日在美国加州硅谷心脏圣荷西市举行，逾500人 的太极24式开幕演练以及武术大师的现场演示展示了中国传统文化的独特魅力。

    武术项目太极拳世界冠军邹云建告诉记者：“参与表演的有500人，加上现场的观众，参与人数超过1000人 。圣荷西市被称为硅谷首都，主流社会这么多人参加，可见中国文化的影响力。”

    “功夫太极日”于2012年在加州圣荷西市议员朱感生促成下兴起，由美国功夫太极杂志社主办，每年邀请众多 武术大师参与，通过现场教学介绍推广中国传统文化。今年功夫太极日除了大型演练外，好莱坞华人巨星李连杰习 武师傅、中国武术九段大师吴彬吴彬，现代南刀创始人之一王培锟等大师现身这一武术盛事。

    功夫太极杂志社社长简祺说：“希望通过举办这样的活动，让民众了解我们的传统文化以及太极和中国功夫的文化 意义。”

    功夫太极日从18日早上10点开始一直持续至下午2点。王培锟接受记者采访时说：“从现场的活动可见，国内 流传到美国来的器械和项目都有所增多，表现形式多样。尤其是超过500人参加24式太极拳表演很不容易。” 他说让他颇为感动的是“在国内，民众一般会通过群众活动日参与各种项目锻炼，而在硅谷，民众可以用一天时间 来专门演练太极拳，这还是很少见的。”

    邹云建目前南湾从事中国武术教学，谈及如何实现太极的文化传承，他有自己的见解：“太极拳的传承还是依靠华 裔第二代第三代移民，他们对当地的文化更了解、他们有更强的语言能力，他们对当地的融入比我们更容易更深入 。我想，我把他们培养好了，他们可以充分领会太极的那种平衡、平和以及太极拳蕴含的哲理，从而更容易将其推 广到西方社会，让西方社会更多民众接受我们中国文化。”他说，目前他教授的太极拳学员中，最小 的只有5岁。

    I love Keanu Reeves. He is my Hollywood look-a-like. Except I think I am going to grow my hair out (although he did have long hair in some of his earlier movies) & my skin is more bronze and I am more handsome.
