Nice job. His kung fu training shows in his movements. Not the typical sloppy brawling you see on Youtube.

thanks N. i try to keep them using choy lee fut hands, just like my sifu did with us. i know some of our techniques look like boxing when we're wearing gloves but train around that.

    thanks again bro

The CLF hands were clear. The footwork and takedowns showed the traditional foundation. His eyes were steady. Good to see real TCMA.

I enjoyed that. He's a natural, good movement, timing and kept a good base. Last fight was solid, someone more on his level physically.

thanks. the cool thing about it, he only trained with me for two days to get ready for this fight. since this was his first time fighting in competition, i expected him to lose because he is really a Mr. Nice Guy. and i was shocked when he said he wanted to fight INTERMEDIATE. i didn't think he was ready. but i make them spar for long long rounds to condition them. he also puts in a lot of time sparring various people while he's away at college.

with the next San Da competition, we're gonna put some serious training in and hopefully take home the gold next time.
