Here are some Jibengong for SC. If you don't devoted your training time into it, you will never be good in SC (you may just touch the surface of that system). You also need to spend time to maintain it. Without daily maintenance, your will lose it.

I don't know how MMA guys may solve this problem. I'm sure boxing, MT, wrestling, and BJJ all have their special set of Jibengong.
Kodokan Judo has over 60 RECOGNIZED throws and many more than that in reality, ou certainly know how many different Shuai Jiao throws there are, both are grappling arts so they have developed so many variations and with them different jibengong

In BJJ there are so many different positions and technique you learn and each can be drilled in certain jibengong

    etc etc

But when you are in MMA... where the kick, punch, throw and submission are all legal, the technique pool actually shrinks.....

And for each person, their pool is unique

So what you are saying is you only train those Jibengong that can enhance those moves that are effective in the ring. That may be a valid approach since the training time is limited.

Here is a problem. The following is "leg escape" Jibengong. It's used to escape your opponent's "foot sweep" and other leg attack.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BjH...ature=youtu.be

Since most MMA guys uses single leg and double legs, and also since the "leg escape" won't work for "single leg" or 'double legs", will you train this Jibengong?

If MMA guys are your only opponents, you may not need to train it. I haven't seen "foot sweep" used in MMA yet in the past. It doesn't mean that "foot sweep" won't be popular in the future.

What will you do in this situation?

We do plenty of foot sweeps, so you have to learn to defend them

You must learn to hand fight, the "shuck", the "pluck", to underhook etc because these are answers to many common attacks

Reality is, you can spend your whole life learning martial arts, and still always learn something new, but you have to assume the most common and most high percentage should be 90% of your training

I also find it's quite useful to train how to escape underhook and overhook. When your opponent tries to

    - underhook you, all you need is to raise your arm straight up.
    - overhook you, all you need is to spin your arm along with your opponent's arm.

This is why it's better to use both arms when you apply underhook or overhook.

In the following clip, when he applied the right arm wrapping, since his opponent also rotated his arm, he had to wrap his arm twice to obtain his arm wrapping.
