The way to get the most out of snt practice is by not wasting more than a 3 minutes of training time doing snt.

Nonsense- a well done sil lim tao is at the core of wing chun. I have not watched Hendrik's 3 videos.

The core of wing chun training is chi sao and then sparring.
When you have limited training time you can't spend lots of time on forms. There's too much other stuff to train.

SLT teaches correct control of motions. Without that development chi sao becomes flotsam jetsam
and sloppy. Good slt and good chi sao are both needed.

I would say that people who chi Sao "sloppily" tend to be new at it. As time goes on and they chi sao more it gets better. But to improve in chi sao there must've chi sao. SNT is secondary.

You are entitled to your opinion... but it is pointless to argue with you.

I agree that "partner training" should come before "solo training". You can learn everything from the partner training. The solo training is just the final "polishing" when you are home and alone by yourself.

You can have all the fun when you make love to your girl than just to masturbate to yourself. When you get old and your love one dies, you may have to masturbate to yourself. Until then you should spend more time on your girl instead of to hide yourself in a dark corner and "masturbate".

You train forms and dummy when you're training on your own. You can't chi sao and spar with yourself.

When I train solo I do stuff to make me stronger and stuff to make me more relaxed afterwards(qi gong). Snt has limited gains even if you supposedly do it for an hour. You would be better off standing in a hoe stance for a shorter time instead of he high pidgeon toe stance for an hour. I'm not advocating jorstabce stance training per se I'm just comparing similar training practices. If you're going to stand in pidgeon two stance you might as well do horse instead.

I don't know what pidgeon two stance is, but I sure as hell ain't going to practice Ho stance.

I look forward to the verification of the results of your original training methods and your oh-so-unique insights and specialised knowledge when you become famous as a combat athlete and coach.

Truthfully, I wouldn't do SLT for an hour either. Or watch any more of Hendrik's videos.

And you have your prescription. What's your point? This is a forum. Someone posts a opinion you don't agree with and you feel you have to type, "that's your opinion. No use in arguing."

You seem smug as if saying, "that's your opinion but it's wrong". Either respond with a counterpoint or don't respond at all because so far your posts on this thread are a waste...besides the one where you said snt training was crucial.

I don't agree with that assertion but I didn't bash it. It might help of you fleshed out your opinions more instead of posting random sayings from your teacher and then poo pooing on others.

What are you talking about? Only a combat athlete/coach has a valid opinion?
