I could make my punch to make a sound just after 1 month of training with T-shirt only (too easy for long sleeve Karate Gi). It's not that hard.

Yes John, but does it sound like a Shaw Brothers movie when you punch?

I like how it is a secret interview, only available to those with youtube access.

You can have Kung Fu in cooking, it really has nothing to do with fighting!

Not so sure my punch makes a sound on its own.
However, the one hit makes a sound, either in their pain or when they hit the ground,
    Peace,

To make a sound from your punch is not hard. To do the following is much harder.

The 1st time that I met my teacher's brother in China, he demonstrated a punch toward my chest. He then pulled his punch back just 1/2 inch away from my shirt. When he pulled his punch back, it created a vacuum between his fist and my shirt. I could felt that my shirt was moving toward him. I have tried to duplicate what the old man did to me all these years. I still can not create the same effect as he did to me that day.

Sometime we just have to admit that there was something that our older generation could do but we still can't do it in our generation.

It makes the same sound as my one hand clapping, grasshopper.

    Yes

All the time; when I punch in the air, it makes a swooshing and thumbing sound at the end of the punch. No matter whose building or place that I may be in, things begin to shake or move on counter tops, tables and shelves (buildings with wooden floors). And that’s without me taking one step.

    Take care,

    True Story

When my mother was alive, I’d use to stop by her house on the way home from work and before I leave her home, I‘ll throw two or three punches just to listen to the dishes inside her china cabinet cling/move. Boy,,, she use to get upset, then I’ll just run out of the house when that happens saying, I'm sorry.

    Take care,
