My understanding is Buakaw is under contract to Thai Fight and they threatened to sue Max Muay Thai if he fights on their card. There is also apparently a dispute over copyright infringements by Max Muay Thai using logos and pictures belonging to Thai Fight.

I think people can be a bit overly critical about Yi Long, by the way. Sure, he's sloppy and does some stupid stuff sometimes, but he has a 30 and 4 record in kickboxing and has fought some decent guys...he is definitely tough.
Here is a recent fight of his against Petchnumchai. Fight starts at 4:45. Skip to 13:00 and watch round 3 for the KO.
