I had a very pleasant 50th. After work, I took a private lesson with Shi Yantuo. He ran me through my paces and got me started in liuhe duigun. Then I went home to a lovely homecooked lasagna and Guinness, followed by watching Kung Fu Hustle again, partly as research for an upcoming article, but mostly for the sheer pleasure of it as I love that flick.
