    Great find!

    Jeez Louise!!!

Just type in "Hendrik" within that forums search area and BAM! Thread after thread after thread!!! I found 32 threads none of them all that flattering of HS! (and that wouldn't include the ones our Hero would have tried to delete himself!)

Safe to say Firehawk that there is no one quite like Hendrik!

Ron, I think if you search 'Phenix' on this forum, you'll find a whole lot of gems too. I believe that is one of 'Hendriks' many past accounts here.
    Example: http://www.kungfumagazine.com/forum/...has-a-begining

sure sounds like the same crazy guy to me.

Really? Good Lord does he have "Multiple Person Syndrome" as well as being a habitual "Attention Seeker" and "Self-Appointed Wing Chun Saviour/Guru?"

Yes, every system and lineage has those that believe that he the "REAL" *insert MA here*.
That has always been that case.
The difference NOW as to THEN was that in the "old days" if you claimed you had the real anything, you would have to prove it in the only way that matters for a MA, FIGHT WITH IT.
Nowadays you can simply TALK about it and you will attract enough "like minded" people to help your self worth.

Not in long fist either. I may not agree my long fist brothers to spend too much time in form training, but I will never criticize them.

I am not a believer in the good old days. I think things were actually much much worse in the old days and I think the reason for the I've got the real goods syndrome is that it has been passed down from the old days.

A fair point BUT when I speak of the good old days I speak of when MA systems were being developed.
Yes, we must always take anecdotal evidence with a "grain of salt" BUT the parts of the stories that we should focus on are the ones that are the point of the story, for example:
Some guys fights some other guy and gets beat, he then adapts and trains his system to beat the other guy.
Some guy gets beat and realizes the other guy is better, he joins him and learns his system and adapts it to his own ( or makes that system his own).

Those key elements are what need to be taken away, not the silly "fantasy-fu" that some have in them.
