Does anyone have any articles, videos, documentaries, sources, etc that talk about life after professional wushu training in China?
I know there is a problem in China of professional wushu practitioners who struggle to find work after they reach a certain age or become injured and can't compete any longer. If there are openings, some will find work as martial arts instructors at universities, mostly teaching Tai Chi to students looking for an easy gym class. Some will resort to becoming street performers. But what about the others? Unfortunately, professional wushu training is not a very transferable skill set in the professional job market. I'm just curious to learn more about their story if there are articles out there about it.
