Nanjing 2014 Sports lab opens its doors

Roller skating, skateboarding, sports climbing and wushu were out in full force to wow the crowds at the opening of the Nanjing 2014 Sports Lab this week.

The unique all-in-one venue has been welcoming large crowds to take in the exciting action, with 3000 visitors to the first two sessions alone it is proving a popular addition to the YOG.


In a series of two hour sessions, each of the four sports take turns for 30 minutes in amazing the onlookers with their jaw-dropping displays. Spectators are invited to try the sports out themselves, and with the facility remaining as part of the Nanjing 2014 legacy for the people of Nanjing to enjoy, perhaps we will see the future stars in these sports emerge from the host city!


Top athletes from each of the four sports are on hand for the duration of the Games to thrill and amaze the crowds while giving coaching sessions to the public and YOG athletes after the daily sessions. For more information go to www.nanjing2014.org
