    Exclamation ALS Ice Bucket

    Hey Guys,
As some of you know, I lost my Dad to ALS this April.
My two sisters and I, along with one of my BIL did the ice bucket challenge this weekend:

In it I challenged my "kung fu uncle" Gene Ching and my kung fu brothers:
    Dale Dugas
    David Ross
David Jamieson ( who did it before I challenged him, well done.)

    And anyone else of course.
    Psalms 144:1
Praise be my Lord my Rock,
He trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle !

    Cool.

    Spread it around.

yes I did this as I had been previously challenged by another friend.
But not only did I do the bucket over the head, I donated 50 bucks to http://www.ALS.ca
So, don't forget to pony up after you get wet.

Also, I think this is one of the best uses of social media because it's at a grass roots level of involvement as opposed
to the typical begging charity model.

helping someone else without expectation is probably one of the best feelings you can have.
So, do it for the feels.
Kung Fu is good for you.

    Well put David.
As I mention in the clip, this isn't so much about dumping a bucket of ice water but about donations and raising awareness of this horrific disease.

    I'm passing

Sorry to be a wet blanket but my attentions are elsewhere at the moment. I've got several friends fighting cancer now, and my father died of stroke complications, so that's where my energies have been headed. This is the 3rd ALS challenge that I've passed on. My kid did it tho.

    Thanks for your understanding.

I *do* support what you and so many others are doing with this. It is an amazing movement and several Tiger Claw people have participated already, including both our CEO Jonny Oh and the TN manager Marcus Callis.

    Good to hear Gene.
I was against this stuff in the beginning, I didn't see the point.
Well after millions raised and people actually finding out what ALS IS, I happily admit I was wrong.
It never dawned on me how few people knew what ALS is, that it has NO TREATMENT, NO CURE and is terminal.
