Holy ****! I can full pistol but not from a standing split kick. I can't even do the second one.

I just recently went back to learning Xingyi, Bagua, and Taiji with Tim Cartmell, glad to see a cover article on Xingyi.

    That form looks nice....

But it looks more like contemporary long fist than Xingyi.

Did you read the cover story, Fa Xing?

“I followed He Fusheng since 1985. He was retired but invited me to study under him. He taught me Shierhengchui (twelve crossing hammer 十二横锤) and Bagua Taiji. Kang was associated with the Zhongyang Guoshuguan and Dongbei Normal University in 1998. We compiled teaching materials for the university together. He passed away in 1998 at age 89.”
Professor Lin Jianhua, The Form and Will of Internal Power.

BTW, here's our next fb meme:

    Another Mandy meme

Mandy is like licorice on our fb site. Our friends either love her or hate her. The haters clearly have never met her.
