Tai Ji is about the constant flow (change) or fluidity between stillness and movement

What is your definition or idea about Tai Ji boxing ?

    Not just smooth transition.

It is also about abrupt changes.

    What do you think ?

    Like to mention 2 things.

    1 balance in rooting.

When you are in stillness or in movement, the weight shifting has to be balanced.

It is centered in your dan tian.

2 use your waist to drive and neutralize all moves.

If you do not turn your waist and just wave your arms, you are not doing Tai Chi right.

In short, if you are not balanced and do not use the waist, you do not have tai chi.

What do you think tai chi is or is not?

Do not just quote someone else.

    Quote your self.

What do you think tai chi now that you practice it.

It exists in physics and everything you do.

My sifu always tells us " body move the arms"! He is right!
