    Happy 53rd Birthday Karen Shepherd!!

I have a project of making animated GIFs from Movies/TV of baton usage. She used a PR-24 in Mission of Justice. Was appropriate to post the GIF set I made on her birthday!

    Enjoy 5 more GIF's here:

Nice! Have not heard of her before, nice to see women in their fifties kicking some butt!

Karen Shepherd 'karate diva' video tribute

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Lot4ZD8d68&sns=em

This vid contains the only footage (small bits) that I could still find on youtube from Righting Wrongs (a.k.a., Above the Law, 1986) showing Karen Shepherd fighting Cynthia Rothrock with a whip chain. That scene remains one of the better onscreen fights between two women...and definitely the best involving two American women.

well, the movie was from 1992, she was 31 at the time

although i wouldn't put it past her to still be able to kick like that at 53.
