I would like to continue training at home in the mean time. The two sets of videos I had been looking at are the Wing Chun Museum set on Siu Lim Tao, Chum Kiu, and Bill Jee and the Samuel Kwok set that covers the same material. I know the SLT and the first section of the Chum Kiu (my instructor isn't big on forms practice so we progress only very slowly on that subject), which of these video sets would be best for actually continuing to learn the forms from home?
I have spoken to my instructor and he has no problem with me doing this, in fact he is rather encouraging and has said he would be happy to answer questions or go over rough spots on the phone until such time as I am able to get back into class. So I am not entirely without instruction for the moment, it is just in a round about way.
Could anyone point me to a review of these two sets, or give personal opinions on these videos? Any alternate recommendations?
These are the best that I have tried.
