    Greetings,

The Glow (from "The Last Dragon"): When I saw this movie, this piece really caught my attention. I still like it.

Somehow, "The Glow" reminds me very much of the theme music to "The Streetfighter". Maybe it is because they are both about manifesting; or, maybe, "The Glow" was inspired by that theme. :

Thanks for posting those, mickey! Good songs both.

My personal favorite song from The Last Dragon was this one. IMO, the soundtrack of The Last Dragon was mostly better than the movie itself. Brings back memories of the mid-'80s and of wearing funny-looking clothes (by today's standards).

    Greetings,

    Jimbo,

After listening to The Last Dragon Theme, I am convinced that the theme from "The Streetfighter" was an inspirational source for both works.

I think that's very possible, mickey. There are some close similarities in rhythm.

    Greetings,

Billy Paul "Let Em In" :

This was a different take on Sir Paul McCartney's classic. The "black owned" radio stations played sanitized versions of this piece, removing the sound bites of the revolutionaries that you will hear. It is a beautiful piece that actually did well in the UK. Sir Paul did like it, as well.

I never heard this version. Nice... I like it a whole lot better than the original (which was torture hearing 10 times an hour on the radio, sitting in a school bus in the 70s)
